Installing and config Creo CAD properly

    Locked

    by bobjosullivan ·

I had a machine with BSOD and I wasn’t able to recover the machine.  I ended up replacing the machine with a higher end model.  Creo is working but not at a proper level because the items happen:1) The below “warning message list” pops up whenever creo starts up2) The Windchill server is never saved and I have to manually connect it3) The config/Creo Parametric options all have red stop signs, how do I correct these signs?

Apparently, you did something different installing the program on this new machine than when you did it on the old machine. Correct that.

Check the installation guide and user manual. https://www.ptc.com/en/success-paths/upgrade-your-creo-parametric/setup/download-and-install-creo seems a good start.

If no luck, it might help to copy all data for that program from the Appdata and Program Data folder on the old PC. Unless it’s some setting in the registry.

Click Tools > Options and use the Options dialog box. Open the config.pro file from within a text editor such as Notepad or Microsoft Word, and add or change configuration options directly. In general, you should change config.pro file settings before you start a Creo Parametric session.
