Installing office 2000 pro

I was having problem viewing any office 2000 attachments in the sense that it would prompt me for the installation cd. So I decided to re-install it but any time I did tried it would come up with an internal error message saying “error 2343, contact vendor support”. I can confirm that the CD has no problem because I used it for another installation and it was successful. The OS is windows 2000 pro as well. Is there something I can do?
