Installing Red Hat Linux 7.0

By jramappa ·
My hard disc is partitioned into 3 parts of 1.3GB each.2 parts contain Windows 98 and related files.
Please explain the procedure to install Red Hat 7.0 into the 3rd partition.
Thanks.

When you run the install program from the CD, it will list the available partitions and then you can install it anywhere you like. The better of the operating systems like Linux and NT don't require the OS to be loaded on the master partition. Bewarned tho, I had difficulty with a dual-boot set up in Linux 6.2 to where it would not let you choose an OS, so back up your files if you can.
