Installing the Data Access Pack on NT

We need to install the Paradox drivers for a computer running Office 97 in a mostly NT environment. The drivers are located on the Office 97 CD. (Valuepack\Dataacc\dataacc.exe) When we run the file it says, ?Do you want to install Microsoft Data Access Pack? when we click Yes, the program closes down. The program runs successfully on Windows 95 but not on NT. The NT computer is running SPK5 and no other applications are running in the background.

  Try the ODBC Driver Pack 3.0, from the Office 97 SR-2 Value pack. Just a WAG.

  Try installing the lastest Microsoft Data Access Components(MDAC)avaiable on the Microsoft site.

    We looked at the MDAC drivers and this is not what we were looking for.
