Insufficient memory

How do I fix the problem I have when trying to print a jpeg, gif or any graphics file from Photo Editor? I get the error, “insufficient memory to compete the operation. Operating system windows 2000, running MS Office 2000, 20 gig harddrive, 256RAM.
