I just started an LLC and I am now looking to get insurance. I would really like to join this online Services Site where you are sent jobs and I can bid on them. This site requires General Liability which covers you for property damage. The problem is that everyone I speak to says for an IT consulting company, I should get Professional Liability coverage that includes Errors and Omissions coverage.
My question is, if I have a lawyer write up a good contract that covers me (not responsible for data loss…etc) could I get away with General liability?
A friend of mine uses this service and gets many jobs from it (and repeat customers). I just want to make sure I’m protected.
