I have an Intel D845GVSR motherboard which I am trying to install xp on, the problem is when I boot it up and try to enter the bios settings I cannot select anything via keyboard it is not working, similarly if I try an boot from rescuse floppy I cannot continue because the keyboard is not active. I have tried serial and usb keyboards none work but, if I try and install ubuntu it will go so far and then stop at a command line then the keyboard is active?? I have tried the bios rescuse disc from intel and it works untill I have to press any key to continue. I have manually reset the bios but to no avail, I am alll out of ideas at this stage, any suggestions?
