can somebody plz give us more info on how banks work,we are trying to implement a online banking system on mainframes

You deposit your money in the bank. The bank uses your money to make investments, provide loans, and other various finacial transactions. Sometimes, depending on the type of account you have, the bank will even pay you interest for leaving your money with them.....

Are you serious ... Banks are large and complicated .. there are numerous attributes that affect every entity in a financial organization. What aspect interests you?
