Problem: When attempting to launch Internet Explorer, message is generated stating “Microsoft Internet Explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close. If you were in the middle of something, data maybe lost”. There is also a checkbox to click for send a report to micsoft or don’t send the report.

OS: Windows 2000
I have tried to unistall and reinstall the brower but the error returns.
Any help would be appreciated.

Like all things IT, we need more details.

What has changed? Anything installed, uninstalled around the time of the problem?

Any other related problems? Have you run the Internet Explorer repair utility? Have you tried a different browser?

my computer does the same thing and i think thats i may hav deleted somthing off that i need 2 run it and i cant even get on msn or anything so i downloaded netscape and i am able 2 get on hot mail but not msn messenger or anything, iv tryd down loading enternet exlpore c if itd make a differnce but my computer wont even let me down load it on to the comput er so its rely gettin me mad and im not sure wat to to ither i supose u should keep on trying or hire a persone 2 fix it 4 u.
