Internet Explorer Content advisor

by sclark . Updated 24 years, 11 months ago

I just purchased a computer and the content advisor password was set, and I don’t know the password. Is there any way to reset it back to default(no password)? I tried uninstalling, deleting the IE folder and reinstalling, but it also failed. It is keeping the setting somewhere else…system registry. I have tried searches in regedit, but nothing familar was found. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. I don’t want to reformat/reinstall Windows98 + software. Thanks –
