Internet Explorer problem

I have windowns xp Home Edition and had IE-7 and recently upgraded same but unable to send or receive mail via Juno as they don't have software as yet to accept IE=7. I removed IE-7 and tried downloading an earlier version-IE-6 but after downloading and told to reboot=it wouldn't complete IE-6 stating I had a later version-any help as to what I can do? Thanks

My first suggestion would be to dump IE and install the Firefox web browser on your system.

That said, I just checked my Juno account with IE 7 and had no problems.

You might need to loosen up the security settings in IE in order to access your Juno mail. Or, you may have a bad cookie and might want to clear cookies and start over with those.

A couple of other things to check on:

Try the browser archive at www.evolt.org to see if the full installer version of IE 6 will install for you. Make sure you are installing IE 6 SP2 if you have Service Pack 2 for XP installed on your system. Or, IE 6 SP1 if you do NOT have XP SP2 installed.

I thought Microsoft had an uninstall tool for IE7. But I am only finding the toolkit to uninstall the Beta 2 version.
