Occasionally, when I double click the Internet Explorer desktop icon, I do not get a window. The CTRL-ALT-DEL task window shows an instance of IE running. If I double click the icon again, I get another instance but still no window. Sometimes, if Iwait long enough, the IE window will appear. Also, after double clicking a number of jpeg files(usually aroung 30) containing pictures from my digital camera, the IE window will not appear. A reboot will solve the problem. I did not have this problem with W95 or W98, just W98SE. The problem occurs with at least IE5 and 5.5 and I know of one other person who has the same problem. Anybody know what is going on and how to fix it?
