Internet & Outlook Settings in MSIE

I am unable to open hyperlinks in Microsoft Outlook either by clicking or right clicking to open in a new window. The window opens but nothing loads, it sits there – blank.

Then I am having problems with my internet settings in IE. Shortcuts onwebpages will not load. Again the window opens but remains blank. Nor does anything show up on the status bar.

Can some please help me??????????????
