Invalid page fault msvcrt.dll mfc42.dll
LockedI have 7 users in Multiactive’s Maximizer Enterprise 7.5. Six of these users are running on Win98SE and one on XP. Six PC’s were bought at the same time and loaded with the same software. The xp is a new machine. I just upgraded to 7.5. One of my users is having a problem with the word processor that is part of the application. She opens a template that contains merge characters for name, address, etc. She can print the template with no problem. When she goes to merge the template with the contact data, she gets the error: Maxword has caused an invalid page fault in module msvcrt.dll and when she closes that she gets the error: Maxword has caused an invalid page fault in module mfc42.dll. Otherwise her program works fine. I checked the other users to see what the size, date and time stamp were on their systems. I have three different dll’s on these similar systems. The dll I looked at was the dll in C:\windows\system. Her dll is dated 4/23/99 is 261kb and was created at 10:22 pm. Four other users have the same date, time and size. One user has a dll dated 2/11/99 that is 261kb and was created at 1:33 am. Another user has a dll dated 10/30/01 is 285kb and was created at 4:57 am. I tried copying the last dll over to the troubled users pc – copying it at the dos level. It didn’t help. I tried putting this user on the XP machine signed on as herself in Maximzer. It gave me the same error. When the XP user signs in as herself, my troubled user can merge data and print letters with no problem. I don’t know where to look next. Should I throw memory at the problem. Why do I have three different dlls with the same hardware and software. (I excluded the XP from the dll check) Why is this user having a problem but the others with the same dll not? Help!!
