IP Tracking

By PC_Techie, MCP ·
I think that someone has guessed my email password to a web based account. I know that I can just change my password, and I have an idea of who is reading/deleting my email. Is there a way that my ISP can track this person IP address? Or can the person's ISP track where this person has been? Is it illegal to read other people's email?

I will change my password, but not before I prove who it is.

Thank you,

service provider for the webmail may be able to track the ipn of people that login to your account for you.
but with so few people NOT using dhcp this is not very usefull.

you might be able to track it back to the person's isp, but unless the webmail provider will give access logs for your email account then they have no legal grounds to do anything.
