A friend lamented they didn't have the DJI OSMO ( https://www.apple.com/shop/product/HNHK2ZM/A/dji-osmo-mobile-3-gimbal ) for a recent gig. As to the camera, I'd find YouTubes to compare as well as other reviews but these, to me look too close for the usual phone video recording work.

If we talk about the camera quality of these two, I found no difference between in daylight camera but for the night mode, I found iPhone 12 better than 11 pro. So it's up to you which one you will choose?

I vote for iphone 11 pro max. Dont have any especial reason!

Go for iphone 12. It is very good for filming camera wise. Although there is not much difference in camera between iphone 11 pro and iphone 12. Since, you said you want to do some editing as well hence, the processor of iphone 12 will be better .

I think iPhone 12 is better than iPhone 11 pro.

If you're a really dedicated photographer then it's worth considering spending the extra and going for the iPhone 12 Pro or 12 Pro Max, both of which offer the telephoto lens as well as the standard and super-wide views.

If you want to do filmography on iPhone then I think you should get iPhone 12 because both Iphone 11pro and 12have the same camera and you want to do editing as well soo I recommend you to get the iPhone 12 because of its fast processor.
