Locked

IRQ changing etc.

I dont know if i posted this in the right place or not, but here goes.

I connect to the internet via a cable connection. My cable modem is connected to my PC via a CAT5 UTP cable (not usefull, but i'm trying out terms i've learned in my CISCO class) to a Kingston network card. I think the network card is sharing an IRQ with other devices that i dont think it should. What IRQs are ok for it to share and how can i change the IRQ of it without moving it to another PCI slot?

Also, my computer came with an integrated Intel Graphics Chipset. How can i remove this? I've tried removing it, but it just get's reinstalled when i restart the computer. I've also tried to disable it via the Device Manager, but i dont like the stupid ! marks it puts over the icons. Again, how do i remove the chipset without Windows reinstalling it the next time i reboot?

Dan
