Is 1tb would be enough for gaming needs?

    Hey guys,

I am going to build a PC for little gaming. I already have bought the core i7 8th generation processor. And EVGA GeForce RTX 2070 Graphics card for my gaming needs. So i was wondering that 1 TB HDD would be enough for little gaming? I read somewhere 1TB HDD would be enough for little gaming.

But I need your suggestions because maybe in the future i may increase my gaming hours.

So let me know. Thank you.

It depends on how much and which games you install. If the average BIG game (you can neglect small games like Tetris) needs 100 GB of storage, and you don’t use your storage to store a lot of downloaded 4K movies, you can install 8 such games. See the system requirements of the specific games you want to buy for a better estimate.

However, don’t buy a HDD. Buy an SSD.

It’s become clear that today’s games expect to be on SSD. The neat part is that 1TB SSDs here are usually under 100USD.

As to the size, that’s enough for quite a few games.
