If you want to do webmail on a linux machine, check out squirrelmail (http://www.squirrelmail.org/) it is a php application that interfaces with your mta.

      Check out asp2php also.

AFAIK apache can support ASP but i dont to what
extent… if your using linux as your webamil
server might as well use apps that would fit
      linux.. i suggest HORDE IMP
      http://www.horde.org/imp/ though it would cause
long time development because you have to learn
PHP and apache… but its worth the learning…

      good luck

Linux doesn’t support ASP natively, but Sun (formerly Chilisoft) makes an ASP engine for Linux. I’ve been using it for about 4 years now. It has been rock solid with no problems and I have yet to find an incompatibility. It costs $500 per server, which isn’t too bad. Their tech support is top notch. They often answered my questions in less than an hour. If you can afford the $500, it is definately worth a look.
