Is Motorola a good brand for smartphone?

    by ankitgupta040795 ·

I have been aiming for this Motorola Edge 20 fusion with Dimensity 800U chipset. Wish to get reviews about Motorola as a brand.

At home and office we’ve had a few. They suffer the same issues as others so I can’t write these are perfect since the issues we’ve had are same with all other makes.

It looks like I’m going with the Pixel 5a next time. Currently have the Moto 7+.

I had few times motorola from old times and maybe Blade Z series was their high. I stick today with samsung and avoid motorola from obvious reasons.

I’m reading https://www.xda-developers.com/samsung-galaxy-z-fold-3-unlock-bootloader-broken-camera/ and others where Samsung is getting a little testy.

        Don’t forget

The Motorola of yesteryear is not the same company as of today. The company name was sold years ago. The original Motorola Razr was not sold by the same manufacturer as of today.

Personally, I consider the current lineup of Motorola devices as mediocre and not the quality of the 1990’s and early 2000’s.

Reminds me of IBM that longer sells home computers or laptops. They sold that division to Lenovo years ago.

We have a few between home and office and they are what they are. Good phone for the price.

Some would write “You get what you pay for.”

Not everyone needs those flagship phones.

Never heard people raving and praising about phone from the Brand. You might want to do you homework thoroughly before making your purchase.

3 out of 4 phones in the family are Motorola. Nothing to rave about but they all work fine and there’s almost no bloatware compared to those Samsungs.

These are not flagship models. Just good phones.
