How is lpsched process normally supposed to work? Once the process is started it should handle all print requests? or does it spawn a child process for each print request? What if it’s spawning some child processes that don’t die, but aren’t accumulating CPU?
I’m trying to trouble shoot slow downs and sometimes the time an lpsched process is time stamped as starting is the same time as a reported slowdown. Your thoughts…mangaj@ch.etn.com
