Is someone besides me concerned about managing Remote Access Applications

I am seeing more and more of our clients encouraging their users to utilize some sort of remote access software such as LogMeIn and TeamViewer. As far as I know, all of their users manage the config settings for these type of applications as I am not aware of any way to centrally manage these software settings. This makes me a bit nervous for my clients as these apps offer a direct route into our network. There are a lot of config settings in those apps such as remote access rights, password policies, software updates, proxy settings, etc. Is anyone else concerned about these apps? Has anyone found a way to manage them so that I don't have to worry about users users messing with them and at the least calling me to fix some crazy setting configuration they set themselves? I would appreciate any guidance.
