Is there a good video downloader? I don't require it to be free.

I just want a solid, reliable downloader for videos (YouTube mainly, but from other places also would be good) and for ripping the audio of videos off to mp3 files.

I don't mind paying. I've paid $20 to $30 annually for years for YTD Downloader. However, for months now I have to install it every time I boot up my laptop. YTD Downloader tech support was no help. So I don't want to renew.

I purchased Houlo (lifetime for $30) and, after a hiccup or two while going up the learning curve, it's doing fine. Customer support is responsive and that's uncommon with programs like this. I'll check out the one you mentioned. Thank you.

I recommend you try 4K Video Downloader. Awesome application, very efficient. Has simple and user-friendly interface. You can download videos online from a bunch of popular websites like YouTube, Daily Motion, Facebook, etc. One of its main highlights i like best is a possibility to download video subtitles too. It is free, but professional, i am satisfied.
