Is there a way to turn on "Total Editing Time" in Access

We are using Office 2003. Apparently Word tracks "Total Editing Time" but Access and Excel do not. My boss would like to track the time that an Access file is being used.

I am searching google but so far no luck. Does anybody know if it is possible to turn it on? Or does someone know of a program to track file usage time?
