You may be able to find “free-ware” applications that will work.

      Try sites such as:

      http://www.freewarefind.com

      http://www.nonags.com

      http://www.snapfiles.com

      http://www.sourceforge.net

Source Forge is an open source community. It can be a little difficult to find what you want. But is often worth the effort.

If you desire the applications that are on the Lexmark driver CD, your best option is eBay.

Aside from the warez and file sharing sites, you will not find a download version of most bundled applications.

      Why?
The printer manufacture negotiates an OEM contract with the software company. These contracts limit what can be done with the software.
And, these are usually light or limited versions of the software.

If you can identify the software, you might be able to download a light or trail version from the software companies web site.

Errr… this may be a longshot, but have you tried the vendor website ??

Normally if the printer comes with some sort of suite it is often avalable with the drivers for download at their site…

Belay that last comment, I went and looked, there is a driver, a patch available and a Utility that doesn’t seem to be the OCR software. Unless it is rolled up in the driver package you may have to, as suggested find a free app to substitute.
