ISA Server and Windows Update

By stnkmstr ·
I'm trying to run Windows Update on my ISA Win2k server to see what hotfixes are available. After I click the link to scan my computer, the Update tells me that there are no updates currently available. Now I KNOW that this server should be detecting SOME updates because it's only sitting at SP2 for crying out loud. So at the least it should be detecting SP3. The only reason I can think of as to why this would happen to this server and not any of my other servers, is maybe because the localISA software is filtering the "tickle" that Microsoft uses to scan for needed updates. (Why it would only filter the local ISA server, I have no's a guess.) All of the other 24 servers that I have sit behind this ISA server and use this server to get to the internet. All of these other servers detect the updates from Microsoft's web site fine. Only the ISA server is giving me the problem. If anyone has seen anything like this happen on their ISA server, or has any ideas, I would greatly appreciate it....Thanks!
