ISDN & Windows XP fax facilities

Windows XP Pro and ISDN Fax Facilities

I have been running Windows XP Pro with SP 1 & 2 installed for some time. I have recently switched over to an ISDN phone line as we cannot get Broadband here our area of Portugal. This has worked fine for e-mail and internet brousing. I am now trying to install fax facilities via the ISDN line, but cannot get this to work. I have Winfax pro v 10.03 with an ASUSCOM P-in-100(C,D) ISDN internal card running what I believe is the latest driver 3.7.3. I?m unable to get the ISDN Card to link to a suitable port which supports Fax ? Do I need Capi 2.0 or can anyone help tell me what I?m doing wrong ?

This is a tech. problem, in search of a solution.

It properly belongs in "Technical Q&A," not in "Discussions." Please re-post there.

Not only will you be more likely to attract the attention of those seeking to provide answers, but you will also make it easier for those seeking discussions to find such.

Thank you.

You're welcome.

The TR site does not do well at guiding people to the proper forum, particularly when their having read an article prompts them to ask for Tech. assistance.

Although this problem has been oft discussed here, TR seems to be loath to divert any resources to its remedy, with the result that it falls to the members to act as traffic cops!

Welcome aboard.
