Issues with Windows 10 Update and Game Performance

Hi everyone,
I recently updated my Windows 10, and since then, I have been having issues with game performance. Some of my games are lagging or not loading properly. I have tried updating my drivers and adjusting the settings, but nothing seems to work. Has anyone else experienced this? Are there any solutions or tweaks I should try? I also read on a game website that certain updates can affect performance—could that be related?
Thanks for your help!

Can you tell what you exactly you mean with “updated my Windows 10”, in addition to the hardware specs asked for by a fellow moderator?

Hi there,
I’ve encountered similar issues after updating Windows 10. Here are a few things you can try:
Rollback the Update: Sometimes, recent updates can cause compatibility issues. Try rolling back to a previous version of Windows to see if that resolves the problem.
Check for Game Updates: Make sure your games are updated to the latest version. Developers often release patches to fix issues caused by OS updates.
Adjust Power Settings: Set your power plan to “High Performance” in the Control Panel to ensure your system is using all its resources.
Disable Full-Screen Optimization: Right-click on the game’s executable file, go to Properties > Compatibility, and check “Disable full-screen optimizations.”
Check Background Processes: Ensure no unnecessary programs are running in the background, which can hog system resources.
. I hope these tips help! If you need more specific advice, please share your computer’s specifications (CPU, GPU, RAM, storage type).
Good luck!
