IT Best Practices

Hi All,

What is the recommended Best Practices to be followed when an employee has resigned pertaining to the de-activation of his user accounts, email ids, etc. Can anyone help.

Can anyone share any documentation if available on the above or guide me to a book which has the above.

I am not quite sure why you are asking this question. It would seem that you are unsure as to what might be 'unacceptable' or perhaps tend toward 'illegal'.

In these regards there is no such condition that I am aware of. It's a bit like asking what are you supposed to do with the ex-employee's desk and chair!
