IT jobs are hard to find.

I love the IT field, but I do feel sorry for the tons of college grads and newbies that study so hard only to find one or two jobs if that per company for the thousands of people searching. This is a very bad time to be IT job searching as there arent many jobs such as Networking /Helpdesk / Lan admin – out there. Additionaly, you will have to be willing to relocate to get the right job you need in the IT field. Remember the IT field is a constricting field by nature, one that does away with your job as technology matures. In the next five to ten years say good by to the lan admin group vs the single lan admin and watch the workstation become the thin workstation as we go back to dumb ( or not quite so dum ) terminals. That wave will undoubtedly be superceeded by another expansion of new technology some 10 – 15 years from now.Techies will need to kern their knowledge in I.T and adapt towards the medical field and hopefully emerging technology markets. My advice is know I.T but bet on your trade knowledge to such as accounting or engineering to be able to get that I.T. job as I.T. people come a dime a dozen.
