It takes a long time (2min minimum) for a receipt to be printed.

By Angel Carlito ·

a printer takes a long time to respond?
What about another printer?

Where is it in relation to whichever machine is making the request?

Is it a local printer or a network one.

Are there spoolers involved.

What you should do is investigate, the query execution time is a trivial part of the whole.

Could I really be bothered?

Of course, the first thing to do is investigate the issue. As you correctly point out...

1. Another printer?
2. Could it be that the query's taking 1.59min, and 1 sec to print?
3. Could I be bothered?
