It’s getting difficult to start and shut down the computer.
Hello there,
I turned on my computer today after a longtime. The fans would turn on and all of the other startup procedures would begin, but the computer would shut down a few seconds after my BIOS splash screen appeared, then try to start up again. It alternated between starting and stopping, then restarting for about five minutes before staying up.My company Caliber Enterprises (https://www.****.com) office computer, has been acting up for the past three months, and I’ve already solved a number of issues, ranging from persistent freezing to not booting. My PC stopped shutting down properly around two weeks ago. When I select shut down, it does so, but it then restarts a few seconds later. When I choose to shut down, it restarts about 75% of the time. There are no error warnings, not even the “windows did not shut down properly” warning. It simply behaves as though it were being restarted.
What kind of problem would this be? I don’t want to restart my computer in case it doesn’t boot.
