ITunes Installtion Problems With XP

I have been having trouble installing the latest version of both ITunes 8.1.10 and Safari
4 It says there is a problem with the Windows Installer Package. Any thoughts? Thanks, Sneddy

You can also run MsiZap.exe and it is available from the Installer Cleanup Utility package:

The following file is available for download from the Microsoft Download Center:

Download the Windows Installer Cleanup Utility package and run it. http://download.microsoft.com/download/e/9/d/e9d80355-7ab4-45b8-80e8-983a48d5e1bd/msicuu2.exe


The installation will install to C:\Program Files\Windows Installer Clean Up\MsiZap.exe

Use the msizap tool with the flag <b>g!</b> and it will identify orphan files, then you can delete them.

ITunes Problem Solved

Thanks Jacky - I solved this when trying to remove Apple Software Updater in Add/Remove Programs. It gave me the option to Repair - I did and solved the problem. Thanks again!
