I’m a university student in my final year. Over the summer I had an internship developing web-enabled solutions for business processes using J2EE technology. In school I’m taking a class called ERP where I’m learning that many if not all automated business processes can be purchased off-the-self from vendors such as SAP and Oracle. If I wish to become a full time Java developer should I be very concerned about becoming obsolete and becoming replaced my an ERP system?
