I am new to sharepoint and javascript but have some experience programming. I am trying to get javascript to update a sharepoint list called ‘test list’. From what I can gather this is roughtly the code. My problem is that as soon as I start the code from ‘using( spsite….. i continously get a ‘Error on Page error on IE and the details seem to refer to a problem on line 627 or something. Please I am going batty trying to solve this problem. As far as I can tell the librarys are being found (please tell me if you have a nice way of testing this) and access is not a problem.
here is the code (in a content editor). Any help would be most appreciated. Im sure im doing something really stupid and obvious but I cant see it
