It is a scam program that tricks the novice user into giving out their credit card information after the install and “registration”.
Just got off the phone with a user who had done this to his home system, and wondered why it didn’t look like the version I had loaded at work……
He is off to call his credit card company right now, then will uninstall the app, and then a nice AV scan.
Anyone else see this?
