Keeping the SYSAdmin Informed
Anyone reading thisI'm hoping that anyone reading this may be able to help out in a way or other.
You see, my concern is not technical, but let me explain. I have a problem trying to convince my boss that is very important to keep the system administrator (that's me) informed of who, what gets change on our servers (or systems) overall. We have a small shop here and from time to time a tasks has being delegated to a programmer or junior technician and because I was not awareand these guys did not tell me we have ran into the situation where instead of fixing something, is being screw up and then I being told about it, and duplicating efforts. I'm trying to find white papers, or management material that I can make my point with my boss regarding how important it is that the sysadmin is kept informed. Can anyone help? Thank you.
