Keyboard stopped working, and I’m curious

    by nites_ ·

I got water on my keyboard last night and immediately powered the laptop off and unplugged the power. I dried it off and didn’t turn it on until the next morning, and the only thing that doesn’t work is the keyboard.
    Notes:
    Power button still works
    Backlight still works
So far everything else is in working order
I’ll take any information I can get before I go to replace the keyboard

if you have a usb keyboard, try that and see if it works. If it does, then it is the keyboard, if it doesn’t work, then the problem is bigger.

Dry your keyboard upside down in the sun for 7 days then do it properly. If it is not running then you can show it to the mechanic.

      Hello,
If the keyboard not working properly then please update the driver (check for hardware changes) then it works if not physical damage.
You can open your laptop try to clean each and every corner of your keyboard smoothly if any dust or liquid then it will remove.
You can also download the latest driver and install it according to your system configuration (from the official site ).
      Thanks
