Kmail configuration

By muchtolearn ·
I have Redhat 7.2 and w2k on same machine.I have Comcast Cable Internet. Innitially my Kmail(Redhat KDE mail) worked great. Set everything just as it was set in w2k.Uses SMTP(port25) and POP3(port110).All the sudden after a couple of days the POP3 server at Comcast won't let me in. Rechecked all settings in w2k and Redhat and nothing had changed. What's going on. It's almost like they're screwing with me cause I'm running Linux cause Outlook Express in w2k still works great.

it is not possible mannnnnnnnnn...
if u can able to login from outlook express, then u can in linux Kmail. how it is possible that u can't in kmail.
just check your incoming pop mail's name/spelling properly, OR try to use it's IP address, may be your linux can't able to look up the ip from the name. if not able to resolve the name.
then check the spelling of your pop account, also check caps lock, then chack the password & also check caps lock.
try to type password in gedit & check it is typing correct password na ? because if your keaboard get some problem, then also u type wright p/w but it gives wrong p/w to computer, it may happens, with old keyboards.
so check that, then try to send / receive. u can.
i m sure.
chirag.
