Labels in Word

By nk ·
Does anyone know where the settings for labels are located? I know that there is a style for envelopes but I cannot seem to find one for labels.

The issue I have is that whenever a user creates a page of labels, it is created with a Header information. I do not know where to go to remove any data in the Header area.

It seems as if the normal.bot has a header that is automatically added when you start a new page.

View/headers and footers and remove any header information that appears. Unfortunately, word does not remove the additional space at the top of thepage where the header was.

You can also open normal.dot and take out the default headers there or start a new normal.dot without the headers and you can gain back the space.

HAve you tried viewing header and footers? Then try removing the info...you might also try looking in the autostart and see if anything else is going on.

there are no specific label templates I could find in word 2000....

Thanks but thiss did not help. The normal.dot does not contain any Headers and Footers. There is also nothing in the Word Start folder.

On a single document I have used View/Header & Footer. I then removed the information manually.
