I assume your Dell laptop runs Windows. That’s right? But APK’s don’t run in Windows. They are for Android devices only, so that’s strange. Can you tell the name of the app(s) and what exactly you downloaded from what site?

Uninstall in Windows only deletes what the installation filled. You have to delete all other data related to the app (in your Appdata and in Program data for example) yourself with Windows Explorer. Since you seem to know what it is (because you know it’s still present) that shouldn’t be a problem.

It sounds like leftover files from the uninstalled apps are still taking up space. Try running Disk Cleanup or use a tool like CCleaner to remove residual files. Also, check hidden folders (like AppData) for leftover data and delete them manually to free up storage on your Dell laptop.

I totally get it how annoying it is. Here are some methods you can use!

Even after uninstalling, some apps leave behind folders in places like

      C:\Program Files or C:\Program Files (x86)

      C:\Users\[YourUsername]\ AppData\Local and AppData\ Roaming

To access AppData, press Win + R, type %appdata%, and hit Enter.

      Clear Temp Files:

Press Win + R, type temp, and delete everything inside the folder.

Then do the same with %temp%.
Then do the same for “prefetch”

Then restart your PC. Hope it will help you
