Hi all-
I am new to this site and while I am pretty computer savy in terms of figuring things out, I am by nooo means fluent in computer terminology. I have been scanning through similar posts all morning and have not found anything I a language I can understand ;). Crossing my fingers that someone out there will read this and come to my rescue! I updated my work laptop yesterday afternoon to the most recent version of WINDOWS XP, download seemed to run smoothly. However, when I restarted the computer this morning, it began running at snail speed and has shown no improvement. I also noticed when trying to open Quickbooks, the start up was totally different, asking me to select the company previously used or create new company, and when I selected our company, the program completely shut down :(!! Any help given would be GREATLY appreciated, as this is my boss’ computer and contains all of our inventory, sales, invoices, client records etc.
