I have a HP Pavilion zv5330us. It will not power up. I have removed the battery leaving A/C adapter plugged in, it still will not power up. The battery light blinks and if I push the power button, the power indicator light stays on, but only if I continue to hold down the power button. The actual light on the power button does not ever come on. I have 2 a/c adapters and have tried them both. Could it still be something to do with the power? It was my understanding that if it was the motherboard, that the power button would come on but the unit would not power up. Since the power button will not come on, could it still be the motherboard?
