    Laptop won’t start up

    Hi

    I have a Y910-17ISK Laptop (ideapad) – Type 80V1 that suddenly won’t start up when I push the on/off button. The power light goes on but nothing happens until I switch it off and power it up again. Then it takes 30 seconds until it starts booting which it does without problems.

      This could be a number of different issues. A few things come to mind: failing power supply, broken power button, failing hard drive/SDD, failing software or internal hardware.

      How old is the laptop and is there an existing warranty? Impossible to determine the issue through a chatroom such as this one. You need someone to do a bench check of your computer to determine the issue and resolve the problem.
