Hi Everyone! Today there was my online quiz. My teacher said to turn on the camera and I tried to turn it on but it didn’t. I don’t know what is the reason behind it? I am using Windows 10.

Yes! Why not? I am using Core i3 5th Generation with 8GB RAM. I am also using Graphics Card of 2GB.
I don’t know exactly that did I disabled the camera or not!!!

Would help if you identified the make/model of the computer. How old is the computer ? Any recent changes or updates to the system ? Any trouble leading up to this camera issue ?

If you can’t get the laptop computer’s camera to work, just get an external camera that either works via Bluetooth or plugs into a USB port. They are fairly cheap and readily available. Another option would be to use a cell phone with a front facing camera.

You only mentioned the processor, the amount of RAM and the general information about the graphics card. Still not enough information.

What is the make/model of the laptop computer and how old is it? This forum is here to help you but you haven’t answered the questions already asked. We can’t see enough information about your system to help you.

You tell you found that link yourself. But yesterday another member posted it already and you answered something like “Thanks, I’ll look into it”. So I don’t think your answer is true.

That link gave 5 methods to try:
1. Enable the camera with the function key that your laptop uses for that purpose.
2. Check the settings in Settings>Privacy>Camera
3. Check the settings in Settings>Apps>Apps & features>Camera. Reset it.
4. Uninstall and reinstall the driver of the camera in Device Manager
5. Delete the Windows update cache.

Which of those methods worked for you?
