I’m working on a web database project running on Windows 2000. I am using AD for authentication and programmatically securing resources. I’m able to create LDAP user objects, and use them to change passwords and all that good stuff. How challenging is the move from AD to another directory such as iplanet? My company would like to use there existing e-mail logins from our Sun server to secure this database project.
