Let's go (fantasy) racing, boys!

Anybody interested in joining an existing NASCAR fantasy racing league? Drop me a peer message or visit

and check out the "League Rules" link. Basically, you pick five Sprint Cup drivers each week, and you can only use a driver nine times. Dues are an outrageous $5 for the entire season; no prizes, strictly bragging rights and trash talking. Right now I plan on adding TR members to our existing workplace league, but if we get enough players I may form a separate TR league.

While I don't see having time to come out and play right now, I would be interested if you were to give updates on how this goes for you.

Oh, and bump.... ;\

On how what goes, the recruiting or the fantasy league itself? This is an existing league that's been running for several years now, with a core of about fifteen players. We use an application from Green Flag Racing to manage the entry lists, scoring, etc.

How your picks do

by jdclyde In reply to Clarification, please

I have not done any of the fantasy leagues, because in general I am not very into professional sports to begin with.

Hearing how YOU do, and how the season goes, that I can do. B-)

Usually pretty well.

We've got a pretty good mix of casual gamers and serious stat analysts. I usually finish the season in the top 5, and finished in first twice back in the early '00's. We normally have at least 8 or 9 players still mathematically eligible to finish first as late as the last three races.

Last bump.
