Level in MS - SQL

In oracle to find the hierarchy level there is a command called
"connect by-start with".
can you please suggest a way you find the
equivalent command in MS-Sql.

I'm unclear on what you mean by hierarchy level but the command you mention "connect by-start with" sounds like the SQL command SELECT most SQL statements begin with. Hope this helps.

Unfortuantely, there is no comparable command in the current or past versions of SQL Sever. You will need to write a stored proc to duplicate it
