I have a machine that keeps tossing an error message, reporting that the “LTFIL10N.DLL appears to be corrupt. Please reinstall the file and try again”. This occurrs on bootup, when the desktop is loading. It appears to be related to Internet Explorer.
I have extracted that file, reinstalled Windows 95 and Internet Explorer 4.0 and IE4SP2, and installed IE5. I can’t get it to go away. Hard drive is new, PC is a P90 with 40MB ram, software installed includes AOL 6.0, MS Office, and a 3270-emulator program.
