Line appears in middle of an Excel cell

I've got Excel 2002 at work, and I have this spreadsheet that I want to have rows 2 and 3 and the 1st column (column A) repeat on every page. I have that all set up properly, but for some reason, on pages 2 of 3 & 3 of 3, it's copying the bottom border from cell A4 into the middle of cell A3.

If I repeat ONLY the rows and not the column, or vice versa, the mystery line doesn?t appear. It?s only when BOTH the rows and column are repeated. I?ve tried copying all the info into a new spreadsheet and then repeating the rows and column, but that didn?t work either.

Any idea why the border on the bottom of A4 is being copied, and how do I make it go away?

This may seem a little simple, but have you tried putting the border on the top of A5 instead of the bottom of A4? It should look the same.. Let me know if that works.
